Cloudflare just open sourced the tool it built to stop employees pasting API keys into AI chatbots. It's called Cloudflare OS, and it gives every person in a company their own AI agent workspace, grounded in that company's own systems. Here's what makes it different. Every agent starts with zero access. It has to request a specific, scoped capability, not a raw API key, and a Gatekeeper Worker enforces exactly what it can touch. The platform even tracks every piece of data an agent has seen, so sharing an app can't leak information the viewer isn't cleared for. Cloudflare has run this internally since May, with thousands of daily users. Now it's open source, and any company can self host it on their own Cloudflare account, no third party AI vendor required.
