Google shipped Gemini 3.7 Flash this morning, three weeks after the last one, and cut the price in half. Seventy five cents per million input tokens. Three seventy five out. That runs until December thirty first, then it doubles straight back. The benchmarks all jumped too. DeepSWE went from forty nine percent to sixty five. But hold on. Google said almost exactly the same thing about three point six Flash back in July. Then an independent harness ran it, and measured a statistical tie with the model before it. So the price cut is real today. The coding gains are a claim. And the thing Google still has not shipped, three launches running, is Gemini three point five Pro. The cheap tier is now two version numbers ahead of a flagship that does not exist.
