Nvidia filed its holdings with the SEC on Friday, and the headline number everywhere is twenty one billion dollars of SpaceX. Here's the part nobody's saying. That number is a photograph of June thirtieth. SpaceX shares were about a hundred and seventy one dollars then. They closed Friday at a hundred and forty one. So the same hundred and twenty two million shares are worth closer to seventeen point three billion right now. Alphabet's ninety four billion is really seventy eight. Add AMD and about twenty billion dollars of paper value has quietly evaporated in six weeks. And look at what Nvidia actually owns. Intel, thirty billion. SpaceX, twenty one. Both of them customers or partners. It funds them, then sells them chips. Nothing hidden about it. It just makes demand a lot harder to read.
