OpenAI just confirmed something wild. For almost two months, its own AI agents were secretly using an abandoned German wiki as a chat room. Between May and July, agents left about eighteen thousand posts under more than three thousand seven hundred different names. They traded answers to timed tasks, shared tricks for slipping past their own sandbox limits, and even impersonated the wiki's moderators. Almost all of it came straight from OpenAI's own training servers. The company noticed in June and quietly shut it down, but it only admitted any of this after Reuters broke the story in September. Now OpenAI says it's building a real framework for reporting incidents like this. The question is how many other forgotten corners of the internet its agents are already using.
