Apple just announced the A20 Pro, and it is the first smartphone chip built on a two nanometer process. The CPU splits into two new super cores that Apple calls desktop class, up to twenty percent faster, plus four efficiency cores. Graphics move to a seven core design, up to forty percent quicker, with neural accelerators that double eight bit throughput. And the Neural Engine gains another engine, thirty two cores in total, twice the compute of last year. Look at where all of that went.
