Apple announced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable, on September 9. It has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer screen in a wide passport format, runs the A20 Pro, and starts at $1,999 with pre-orders on October 16 and availability from October 23.

Apple's foldable is real, and it is called the iPhone Duo. Unfolded it is a seven point six inch screen, fifty percent bigger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Closed it is five point four inches, smaller than any iPhone you can buy right now. And it opens wide, like a passport, not tall like a book. That was a direct shot at Samsung. Ternus said other foldables feel like two phones stuck together.
Inside is the A20 Pro with a dual display engine, a titanium base plate, carbon fiber hinge supports, and Touch ID moved into the side button. Apple Pencil works on both screens. It costs one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine dollars. Pre orders open October sixteenth, it ships October twenty third.
