Lenovo's first Googlebooks just leaked, and there's a surprise in there. Marketing renders showed up Friday night. Three devices, all stark white, all wearing that blue light bar Google calls the glowbar. Two of them are ordinary laptops in different sizes. The bigger one still has a full size USB A port, which tells you something about who Google thinks buys these. But the third device isn't a laptop at all. It's a detachable tablet with a kickstand, a stylus, a keyboard folio and four Dolby Atmos speakers. That matters, because Googlebooks run Android, not ChromeOS. And a tablet that turns into a laptop is the thing Android has been circling since the Pixel Slate died. Acer, ASUS, Dell and HP are building these too. They ship this fall. Nobody has said what chip is inside, or what any of it costs.
