Recursive Superintelligence just signed a four hundred ten million dollar compute deal with AWS. That's not the interesting part. The interesting part is the ratio. Recursive has raised six hundred fifty million since May, so sixty three percent of everything it's ever raised is now locked into one cloud vendor. The company runs AI that improves itself: propose an experiment, run it, check the result, pick the next one, no human in the loop. That eats compute a research team never could. And two of Recursive's own investors, Nvidia and AMD, make the chips it's now paying AWS to rent. If the research works, nobody will care about the structure. If it doesn't, the structure is why the runway ended early.
